Robot Sea Monster is custom software development studio that delivers solutions such as mobile and web games, mobile and web apps, educational games and apps, AR & VR, and Web3 games and apps.

When I brought on to the team, they wanted me to improve and build upon the company website.

## Solution

The company website has been growing in multiple ways. The website is more responsive, the case studies section is more user friendly and organized, and the Periscope page has been added with more content.

At my time at Robot Sea Monster, I was responsible for creating new pages and improving on what they currently had, including improving any user experiences.

Canadian Lakes is a private, recreational community located about an hour north of Grand Rapids, Michigan. Canadian Lakes staff wanted a fresh new redesign and give visitors a better idea of what Canadian Lakes can offer.

I was the solo/lead web designer on this project.

## Solution

Canadian Lakes


Materion Matters is an internal portal site for all Materion Corporation employees. They wished for an upgrade from Liferay 6.2 to Liferay 7 (DXP) and fresher look to the website.

I was the lead UI/UX designer on this project.

## Research & Benchmarks

The Materion team wanted a more modern look to their website. The Materion team and I worked together to research and find potential layouts of pages and look and feel.

## Wireframes

 The Materion team felt that their old website was busy and not user friendly throughout the entire website. Below are screenshots of the previous design. The wireframes below were part of the process of creating layouts that simplied any navigation and more organization to current and future pages.

## Concept

Photographic-imagery is a big part of Materion's brand and identity. While keeping the imagery alive, I also wanted to incorporate more iconography for their navigation and visual design throughout the website.

The concept screens below were going to have the most change. I had the idea of either having the headers including imagery or having a solid color header using Materion Blue and their macro triangle graphic.

After Materion agreed to incorporate banner images, a brand new page was created: Brand Central. Brand Central was intended to house everything related to the Materion brand - brand guidelines, email templates, signatures, etc. The concepts involved laying out every element for the interior pages and making a decision on the proper imagery.

Procurement Portal was a current page on their website, but the Materion team wanted to give it a design upgrade due to heavy traffic and usage. The concepts involved laying out every element for the interior pages and making a decision on the proper imagery.

## Solution

Through collaborative dialogue, Materion Matters transformed into a more modernized look with icons and imagery. Feedback was positive with employees feeling that the website was more engaging and less chaotic than their previous version.

This was one of the largest projects I ever worked on, and the first project that I got to lead.

Materion Matters


At my time at Kreativ Marketing, we had Teri Maier reach out to us. Teri Maier is an award winning interior designer in the Grand Rapids, MI area. She wanted a website to showcase her work.

I was the solo/lead web designer on this project.

## Solution

Teri's work was brought to life in a simple, photo forward website. The site continues to be updated when more work is added to Teri's impressive resume.

Lightpoint Insurance was founded in early 2021 and needed a website to show what services they offer in Michigan, Florida, and Texas. They wanted a straight-to-the-point website that showed what insurance they offer.

I was the lead UI/UX designer on this project.

One of my many tasks at Kreativ Marketing was working on social media accounts. I worked on many clients accounts and the company account.

I created multiple images for multiple accounts. From ascending order: Kreativ Marketing, Grand Apps, Allied Roofing, Jaspare's Pizza, Rollin' Now, and Somerset Plastic Surgery.

While my main role at Kreativ Marketing was being a web designer, I also helped design and coordinate social media, and worked on some graphic design projects.

Kreativ Marketing


One of my many tasks was to help improve their brand by creating a solid style guide and a consistent look to all presentations.

## Concept & Solution

Youngsoft had the color palettes, the logo, etc. but it was never organized into a style guide. That's when I was asked to help create a style guide for Youngsoft. Below is the second version of the approved Youngsoft Branding Guidelines with intro text and different layout of all elements.

Youngsoft wanted a major upgrade to their presentations including for the sales team, marketing team, etc. Below are some slides from the Youngsoft Introduction and Intelligent Manfacturing Sales presentations.

Youngsoft is a Liferay Partner. They requested me to design a new backdrop and a podium design for their booth at Liferay Symposium 2018 and future conferences.

I wore many hats while at Youngsoft. My main role was working on web projects, however I also helped out with their branding and social media.

Youngsoft, Inc.


Hart & Cooley, Inc. provides a large number of HVAC products and is one of the largest HVAC companies in North America. As a graphic designer, I designed and collaborated on numerous print materials and digital assets for various projects. I worked on a variety of projects, including email blasts, sell sheets, and advertisements. I also helped update sections of the company's website through Sitecore.

## Projects

Hart & Cooley Inc exhibited at AHR Expo 2017 (manufacturers of all sizes and specialities share ideas and showcase the future of HVACR products and technology). I was asked to create invites for attendees to persuade them to come to Hart and Cooley's booth.

Hart & Cooley wanted more engagement from current and new customers. Designing in Illustrator and sending out the email blasts in Constant Contact, email blasts were sent out once a month to update customers on any new products, events, etc.

Advertisements and flyers were created for future tradeshows and company use to inform customers of Hart & Cooley products.
